Bitcoin: BTC is currently trading at $57,781.43. Bitcoin gained by 6.63%% in the last seven days. However, the price increased by 4.98%% during the previous 24 hours.

Cryptocurrency scammers succeeded in tricking users of famous dating apps for a mountainous $1.4 million by promoting a fake crypto app CryptoRom. The dating apps involved were Tinder, Grindr, Bumble, and others.

Ethereum: Ether was moving bullish and is currently trading at $3,739.38. The price this week increased by 4.77% and 8.07% in the last 24 hours.

In a recent interview with CNBC, the American billionaire Barry Sternlicht- Co-Founder of Starwood Capital Group’s investment fund, said that Bitcoin is a financial instrument that can help against the mass printing of fiat currencies. Also, he admitted that he has personally invested in bitcoin.

Aurora, an Ethereum Virtual Machine meant to scale decentralized applications developed on the Near protocol, has announced a $12-million debut funding round.

Ripple: XRP is currently trading at $1.14, the price was up by 5.50% in the last seven days, and it gained 4.69% in the last 24 hours.

Ripple has announced its partnership with the non-profit Digital Pound Foundation. The foundation will work for the construction and implementation of a Digital Pound in the UK. Also, Ripple would join as the authorizing division and help in the development process with its vast experience in facilitating cross-border transactions.

Litecoin: The current value of LTC is $181.93, and it’s up by 5.91% in the last 24 hours and down by 0.61% over the past seven days. The crypto coin reached an all-time high in June 2021 of $197.8.

The Litecoin network first went live on October 13, 2011, and yesterday it celebrated ten years since its launch. Litecoin flips ETH in terms of active addresses, reaching over 500,000, but if it can maintain this streak is to be seen. Litecoin has been losing its relevance and lost retail investors, to which it was appealing earlier on.
